UPDATED: 01/04/09
Mostly photos of our chickens.
Our current flock consist of one Rhode Island Red Rooster and 11 RIR ladies.  The ladies have started laying eggs over the past few months and at this point are 'paying their way' in eggs they are producing.

07/21/08:  The broody RIR hen's nest has action started in it!
The first egg has started to hatch.  The next morning there were 2 new biddies and by afternoon there were 7 with another just starting.  There are 4 more eggs left in the nest to hatch (hopefully).  Mama hen is doing a wonderful job with her charges.
07/26/08:  The eggs I set in the incubator started hatching.  I had about an 85% hatch rate.  These are photos of RIR chicks hatching and then in the brooder box.
01/04/09:  A New Year and some new photos of Reggie and his girls.
